We have fans!
As both the parent of a player and a coach, I can say that the SE Portland Girls Basketball Club is a wonderful, vital and appreciated club. My daughter has been in the club for three years, beginning in 3rd grade, and has grown as a player, team member and person. She’s learned about competition, self-reliance, team building, leadership, how to face fear and disappointment, how to have fun, how to support her peers and just generally go all out to do her best.
Steve Cooper is clearly dedicated and passionate about the club, and it is great to see it grow and develop. It’s a great part of the Portland community and a super resource for girls. I’m very happy we’ve been a part of it.

SE Girls Basketball Club has been the best thing in my daughter's life the past few years. Being part of a team brings her a sense of togetherness and accomplishment. Between practices, games, and tournaments, and skills clinics, the club makes sure these girls get the full experience of team sports. And her coaches have been amazing in pushing her to improve her skills on the court, while always leading by example in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. They let her shine in her own way.
